Twirling Again

None of us were ready to lose her

But I guess she was ready to go

Recapture the glamorous woman she was

Catch up on all she should know

Now she’ll finally hear of our triumphs

Remember her grandchildren's names

Cheer on every new milestone we make

From a place where there's no longer pain

She'll be harmonising with angels

Wandering gardens that blossom and glow

Laughing with all of her loved and lost

Feasting with royals from moonbeams ago

Heaven must suit her so well

if it's as dazzling as we’ve all been told

The radiance brightened by her shining smile

as she twirls down those pavements of gold.
