Pete's dog pooped on the path Pete didn't pick it up This of course caused quite a stir About what it taught the other pups
So Ben got out his chalk stick And circled every muck With passive aggressiveness Chalked the words pick it up But to Ben's dismay
Each day he swerved more shit This was a dirty protest Ben wasn't having it Being a gentlemen Ben didn't want a fight He called up the council They didn't give a shite I'll show him how it's done he said It really isn't hard
Stick and flicked it in Pete's garden
Stick and flicked it at Pete's car
Ben opened up his door Having heard the bell A gleaming pile on his matt Ben was greeted by a smell Dog houses raided on the street It now was all out war Pete up to 430 Ben from number 44 Collecting crap for many months Piling up their hate Until one shitty November day We will never forget the date Dog mess flying overhead Stenches splattered the road A brown rainbow over Southwood Drive It was a sight to behold So now you know the story Behind the Southwood festival A gruesome tale of stubbornness Is why Kids make paper mache stools And Reenact the scene To remember how bad it got Then gather around a bonfire A stuffed dog perched on top.
