How did I not know That you were in pain So beat and saturated Drenched by the insane How didn't I realise You'd quarantined your tears Feeling wholly disregarded Tormented by these years How had I not noticed Your resilience wearing thin I missed so damn much How could you even begin The worst thing, I could tell But never cared to pry Rationing up my time Watching our affinity die You felt me let you down But let me weep for you Whilst lovingly reminding me

You have a telephone too
